Octagen is a family of 16 condensed Sans Serif fonts of geometric construction and neo-Gothic style with short descenders and a humanistic finish in the curves and auctions of the tiny letters to avoid the coldness of the grotesque typographies, providing expressiveness, energy, warmth and docility , resulting in a friendly typography with a lot of personality and readability, specially drawn for the composition of short and medium texts, signage or headlines where horizontal space saving is needed.

The typography has 529 glyphs (Latin Extended-A) with advanced OpenType functions, several number games, a complete set of neutral-style alternative lower case letters and the Bitcoin symbol.

More For Octagen cursive styles I used a set of lowercase letters without terminal finishes, more neutral than the regular versions, this being compensated by the expressiveness of the italics inclination, thus achieving important morphological, coherent differences within the conceptual development of this typographic family.

Pliego has been named after Pliegos de Cordel, the Spanish word for the popular books that were common during the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries.

These were rough, cheap books that basically consisted in a folded sheet attached to a string, hence the name.

Their content was varied, from popular tales to ballads and songs, but also crimes and mysteries.

They were cheaply made, roughly printed and bound. The name Pliego evokes the idea of a rough look, angular edges, informal taste, but classical look.

More To cover todays needs, Pliego includes five weights with matching italics.

Designed and engineered for continuous reading, the Book, Regular and Medium weights will perform at their best under 14 points.

However, dont be scared to use for headlines and titles: because of its quirky details and calligraphic flavour, Pliegos personality is accentuated when enlarged.

A retro-style can be regarded as lack of original contemporary ideas. But also as passion for nostalgic time-traveling. Everyone wants to return to their youth at least for a moment. Inicia was one of my first designs (hence the name) from the mid-eighties. The original drawing was never finished because there were too many similar typefaces around.

After three decades the shapes of the old designs suddenly became tempting to finish.

Now restored and completed at Storm Type Foundry.

Morandi is the first commercial sans serif font created by Jovica Veljovi a much-awarded designer whos been creating typefaces for over thirty years.

Monogamma is an experimental typeface which explores opportunities for harmonious connection of broad nib writing and the aesthetics of monospaced typefaces.

The typeface is primarily designed for headings and typesetting in large sizes.

It is not intended for technical usage, therefore its metrics and characters proportions are optimized and the spacing between letters is optically evened out.

Thereby, Monogamma has even letter spacing, contrasting styles and is free from the imperfections of monospaced fonts.
